Dynamic Calibrations
Most domestic makes and models require dynamic calibration. Very few foreign models require dynamic calibration. Most foreign models require Static Calibrations.
A dynamic ADAS calibration is a real-time process where the advanced safety systems of a vehicle, such as adaptive cruise control or lane departure warning, are recalibrated while the car is being driven on the road. Using data from the vehicle's sensors and cameras, the system continuously fine-tunes its settings to account for factors like road conditions, vehicle speed, and environmental changes. This ensures that the ADAS functions remain accurate and effective, providing optimal performance and safety by adapting to the dynamic and ever-changing driving environment.
Static Calibrations
Most Foreign makes and models require Static Calibration.
A static ADAS calibration is a precise procedure where a vehicle equipped with advanced safety systems, like lane-keeping assistance or automatic braking, is parked in a controlled environment. Specialized equipment is then used to align and calibrate the vehicle's sensors and cameras according to manufacturer specifications. This ensures that the ADAS components have accurate reference points, enabling them to accurately interpret the vehicle's surroundings and provide reliable safety features during normal driving conditions.
Dual Calibration
A select few models require Dual Calibration.
A dual ADAS calibration involves both static and dynamic calibration processes to ensure the accurate functioning of a vehicle's advanced safety systems. Initially, the vehicle is parked in a controlled environment for static calibration, during which the sensors and cameras are precisely aligned using specialized equipment. Following this, dynamic calibration takes place while the vehicle is driven under real-world conditions, allowing the ADAS systems to adapt and fine-tune their settings based on live data from the road and environment. This combination of static and dynamic calibrations ensures optimal and reliable performance of the ADAS features, enhancing safety and responsiveness in various driving scenarios.

At our ADAS shop, we go beyond just calibrations. We offer a specialized service where we conduct standalone diagnostics and provide you with a detailed printed report. This means you get valuable insights into any fault codes your car may have. It's important to note that while we're experts in ADAS technology, we're not auto mechanics, so we don't provide advice on the findings in the report. This service ensures you have a report you can present to a qualified auto mechanic without paying so much.
